What You’ll Do
Help build our future platform using best practices from the platform engineering community.
Build self‑service infrastructure so engineers and customers can ship code quickly and reliably.
Manage the containers‑based model‑serving platform in both hosted multi‑cloud environments and customer on‑premise VPCs.
Operate the underlying infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, etc.).
Own the development experience for our customers, including CI/CD, local development environments, documentation, compliance, upgrades and more.
Establish monitoring and infrastructure health reporting to advance self‑healing infrastructure principles.
Be on‑call for services owned.
Collaborate across timezones in a remote environment.
What We’re Looking For
Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of industry experience and a solid foundation in software development.
Proficiency in Python or Go.
Adaptability & ownership: thrive in ambiguity and fast‑paced environments; take initiative and manage projects independently.
System design & optimization: strong grasp of distributed systems and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
Technical leadership & collaboration: plan, execute and deliver projects, break complex problems into tasks, mentor a small team, and work cross‑functionally with product, design, frontend, and data science.
Coaching & mentorship: actively review code and designs, raise the technical bar, and support teammates.
Prefer ability to work in our Palo Alto office three days a week.
Compensation Bay Area: $195,000‑$300,000 + equity.
