We’re looking for a
Director of FP&A
to join our expanding team and act as the dedicated financial partner for our Commercial teams. Reporting to the SVP of FP&A, you will be the key driver behind the financial health and strategic direction of our rapidly growing Insights Exchange business. This high-visibility, high-impact role offers broad exposure across the entire business cycle, giving you the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the business and lead a small team within a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
What You Will Do
Serve as the primary FP&A business partner
to Sales, Supply, and Customer Success, translating operational metrics into clear financial projections and insightful analysis.
Assist commercial teams in delivering
the comprehensive revenue forecasting process, performing deep‑dive analysis on key revenue drivers to inform executive decision‑making.
Lead the monthly sales performance review , clearly communicating variance analysis and actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Manage and track
operating expenses, ensuring rigorous cost control and alignment of actual spend against budget.
Conduct detailed customer and product profitability analysis
to identify opportunities for margin expansion and strategic investment.
Develop and present
clear, concise financial narratives and reports for executive leadership and Board meetings.
Mentor and lead
a small team of FP&A Specialists, fostering their development and ensuring high‑quality output.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance, preferably within the Technology or SaaS industry.
A degree in finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and proven experience owning the budget, forecast, and financial performance analysis cycle, specifically with revenue forecasting and analysis.
Demonstrated Business Acumen and Operational Analysis Skills: A track record of translating complex financial results into actionable operational insights for commercial and product leaders.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel/Google Sheets.
Technical Data Proficiency: Direct experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and/or extracting and analyzing data from data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, SQL databases).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex financial data to non‑financial business partners and executive leadership.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with initiative, and thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
Additional Information Anticipated Salary Range (US Only):
$158,400 to $198,000 annual base salary.
