Job Description Automate, develop, and maintain Teradata-based ETL jobs and data pipelines to meet enterprise data warehouse requirements. Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support enterprise data warehouse solutions leveraging Teradata and associated tools.
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into target systems.
Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Manage Teradata SQL development, including writing, translation, and tuning of queries.
Define, schedule, and monitor ETL job schedules in Autosys, troubleshoot issues, and resolve failures.
Conduct log reviews and performance analysis to identify trends and proactively address potential issues.
Maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures, best practices, and system configurations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend optimized data processing workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Teradata (SQL, utilities, and job development)
Experience with DataStage ETL and Part Loader
Intermediate SQL skills and performance tuning experience
Knowledge of Autosys job scheduling and automation
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in Linux scripting, DataStage ETL, and Teradata SQL
Experience optimizing database jobs in collaboration with DBAs
Familiarity with change management and code promotion processes
Ability to document procedures and share knowledge within the team
Base Salary Range $120,000 - $160,000 per annum
