Data Stage ETL Developer
Join Tata Consultancy Services as a Data Stage ETL Developer and contribute to enterprise data warehouse solutions, leveraging Teradata, DataStage, and Autosys.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and support Teradata ETL jobs and data pipelines.
Extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into target systems.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different systems.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Write and tune Teradata SQL queries, including data validation.
Define, manage, and monitor job schedules; troubleshoot issues within the Autosys environment.
Analyze and resolve issues with Autosys jobs and dependencies.
Collaborate with DBAs to optimize database job performance and implement SQL design changes.
Participate in troubleshooting production issues, reviewing job logs and making necessary design changes via change management.
Document troubleshooting procedures, best practices, and system configurations; manage Change Requests.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend optimizations for data processing workflows.
Qualifications
Intermediate skill level in Teradata SQL and SQL query performance tuning.
Experience designing and developing Teradata ETL jobs and data pipelines.
Solid skills in writing and translating SQL queries; perform SQL data validation.
Ability to manage Teradata SQL, including troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues.
Experience with Autosys: defining, managing, and monitoring job schedules; troubleshooting Autosys job failures; understanding job dependencies and workflows.
Background in optimizing database jobs for performance, collaborating with DBAs to implement design changes.
Strong analytical skills to review job logs, identify trends, and proactively address potential issues.
Proficiency in troubleshooting production issues through meticulous job log reviews and design changes via change management.
Base Salary Range $120,000 - $160,000 per annum
