What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Design and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Implement row‑level security, DAX measures, and optimize performance for large datasets
- Standardize data definitions, formats, and governance across various systems and platforms
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, performance tuning, and data modeling
- Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and integration strategies
- Proven experience in automating data workflows and building scalable analytics solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with Azure Data Services
- Exposure to cloud‑based data warehousing and big data technologies
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise project delivery
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or regulated industries
