What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and analysis
- Design and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights
- Standardize data definitions, formats, and governance across various systems
- Build and optimise automated data pipelines to enhance data reliability
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, performance tuning, and data modelling
- Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX and data visualisation best practices
- Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and integration strategies
- Proven experience in automating data workflows and building scalable analytics solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Azure Data Services
- Exposure to cloud‑based data warehousing and big data technologies
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise project delivery
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industries
