The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Shirley Ryan AbilityLab seek a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher. Our outpatient pain center specializes in treating subacute and chronic pain conditions through an interdisciplinary approach. The center also serves as a training site for residents and fellows and is involved in extensive research in pain management. Responsibilities
Lead a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, psychologists, nurse educators, and vocational rehabilitation counselors. Develop and manage an interventional spine practice (optional). Conduct clinical practice focused on pain management. Provide and lead teaching activities with residents and fellows. Engage in research activities. Qualifications
Board certified in Pain Management. At least seven years of clinical experience beyond residency. Research expertise in pain management and peer-reviewed publications preferred. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. Qualified for faculty appointment in the Department of PMR at Northwestern University. Application Process
