Job Summary Provides direct psychological services to University students through individual, couples, and group counseling; conducts clinical assessments, formulates diagnoses and treatment plans; offers walk‑in assessments, crisis intervention, and intakes for students; consults family members and campus community constituents; and provides outreach to the University community.

Responsibilities

Provide direct services to students, including individual, couples, and group counseling, and conduct clinical assessments with diagnoses and treatment plans.

Offer walk‑in emergency assessments, crisis intervention, and intakes for students; consult with family members and campus community constituents.

Complete intake summaries, psychological assessments, emergency evaluations, progress notes, and termination summaries according to established policies and procedures.

Eligible to provide clinical supervision and/or training of interns in APA‑accredited Pre‑Doctoral Psychology or Pre‑Masters internship programs; may lead training seminars.

Participate in departmental research.

Develop and present educational programs, seminars, and workshops to students; facilitate outreach events.

Participate in CAPS committees, especially those concerning student well‑being.

Minimum Qualifications Doctorate from an APA‑Accredited Clinical or Counseling Psychology program with an APA‑accredited internship. Licensed Psychologist.

Desired Qualifications Doctorate from an accredited university in psychology, one year of supervised internship experience in professional psychology, and licensure as a psychologist by the State of Florida in accordance with Chapter 490, F.S.
