Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is actively recruiting a full-timePhysician to join its Gastroenterologist practice in their BoulderCounty clinics. BMC has been providing high quality medical care toBoulder County and its surrounding area since 1949. A physician ownedand governed multi-specialty practice of 90 providers including MDs,DOs, Certified Mid-Wives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants,and 320 support staff. BMC is committed to high quality service andexpert, professional care. It serves patients in five locations,conveniently located in Boulder, Erie, Longmont, and Louisville, COand is led by a full-time professional management team that allows youto focus on patient care.

Experience and Skills
Diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, includingprescribing medications, recommending dietary modifications, andsuggesting lifestyle changes.
Provide medical care to patients with chronic and long-standing diseases.
Help manage patient symptoms and prevent complications.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Order and perform diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and stoolsample tests, to determine the cause of the patient’s symptoms.
Perform investigative endoscopic procedures, such ascolonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, upper endoscopies, and removeabnormalities in the GI tract for diagnostic testing.
Refer patients to other medical professionals and specialists iffurther diagnostic testing or treatment is required.
Provide education and counseling to patients regarding theircondition, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with other medical specialists, including surgeons,primary care providers, and oncologists, to coordinatemultidisciplinary care for complex cases.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentationof patient encounters and procedures.
Education:
Medical Degree (MD, DO)
GI Residency training
Board certified
