2026 Operations Summer Analyst Program (Baltimore)
The Operations Division at Morgan Stanley is the front line of defense for the Firm's financial and operational well-being. It works closely with almost all departments to safeguard the Firm's reputation and franchise. Operations partners with Sales & Trading, Finance, Legal, and Technology to support and settle daily transactions, develop controls, build client relationships, and enable new business development. Summer Analysts participate in a 10-week program starting in June, gaining exposure to various operations functions and the financial services industry. The program includes firm orientation, hands-on training, group projects, and opportunities to interact with senior management. Training Program:
Various trainings, speaker series, networking, and educational events to immerse participants in Operations and Morgan Stanley's culture. Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborate across teams to improve processes and operational efficiency. Gain understanding of Operations and its interdependencies. Present to senior management. Partner with business units and technology to deliver exceptional client service in trade capture, settlement, account opening, and more. Work with Technology to streamline processes and improve productivity. Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring compliance. Maintain effective client relationships to deliver high-quality services. Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum GPA of 3.0. Enrolled in a Bachelor's program graduating between Dec 2026 and June 2027. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Team player with attention to detail and sound judgment. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities. Problem-solving skills and adaptability. Positive attitude, proactive, and confident.
