$80,000 to $100,000 USD per year Job Summary: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and detail-oriented Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join a leading hospitality procurement team. This role is ideal for an individual with a keen eye for cost optimization, vendor management, and sourcing strategies within the OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and managing procurement projects to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness across multiple hospitality properties. Role Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency. Manage the vendor selection process, including issuing RFPs/RFQs, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts. Maintain and update pricing databases and procurement records to ensure accurate financial tracking. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, trends, and opportunities for improved procurement processes. Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality service, compliance, and contract adherence. Analyze procurement costs and implement strategies to enhance financial efficiency. Support cross-functional teams by providing sourcing solutions and cost-effective alternatives. Monitor supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvements in quality, cost, and service levels. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet sourcing needs and ensure alignment with business objectives. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 5 years of experience in OS&E sourcing within the hospitality or procurement industry. Strong understanding of procurement strategies, supplier negotiations, and cost management. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends. Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software tools. Key Competencies: Strategic mindset with the ability to execute sourcing initiatives effectively. Strong negotiation skills with a results-driven approach. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and market conditions. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
