Stamping Coordinator

Responsibilities
Supervise team leaders, technicians, and/or production associates of the stamping department.
Assist with managing SQCDM activities, improving and stabilizing key areas and 5‑S.
Assist production floor, manpower, equipment, quality, productivity, associate, and safety issues.
Administer policy and safety procedures with all stamping associates.
Assign jobs to associates and related training.
Assist with reviewing and prioritizing equipment maintenance, quality and production issues.
Coordinate activities with opposite shift production.
Manage shift operations of Stamping Department, including but not limited to: stamping team leader, production associates and die maintenance associates.
Manage the stamping presses to execute the production schedule in an effort to meet internal and external customer requirements.
Develop and generate reports pertaining to results and activities within the area of responsibility.
Continually strive to improve the levels of safety, quality, productivity and 5S within the department.
Work with all departments and levels to meet the common goals of the organization.
Participate in daily and weekly production and management meetings.
Other duties as required by Management.
Qualifications
BS/BA Degree or Equivalent Experience
ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Implementation Experience
High Volume Metal Stamping Experience
Lean Manufacturing/JIT Environment Experience
Automotive Industry Experience Preferred
3-5 Years of Management Experience
