Daily responsibilities
Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest using industry knowledge and the GreyMatter platform.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow‑up, outbound cold calls, and emails within a given geographic market.
Understand customer needs and communicate product features/benefits clearly and consistently.
Enter data into the CRM in a timely manner to track, analyze, and report on opportunities.
Rank prospects in the database to represent their value to the organization.
Maintain and expand your book of business through creative outreach strategies.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives with urgency.
Assist with pre‑event confirmations and post‑event follow‑up to keep prospects engaged.
Follow up on RFIs and educate prospects and partners on value and ROI.
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and lead new business sales expansion.
Support a culture of accountability, adaptability, helpfulness, and focus.
Qualifications
Completed bachelor’s degree or higher education.
0–1 years of inside sales or customer service experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Strong sense of urgency and competitive edge.
What makes you uncommon
Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
Track record of over‑achieving quota.
Strong phone presence with experience making 50+ cold calls a day.
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
Face‑to‑face/B2B sales experience.
