Job Summary
We are seeking a Patien t Service Representative (PSR)
to join our team. Under the general supervision of the Operation Manager, the PSR will be responsible for scheduling, greeting patients, activating patient files, and providing support to clients and contractors. The PSR is responsible for completing referrals (by phone and in person, intake, collection of co‑pay or payments for services at each visit and recording payments). The PSR will also support clients/ office relations including serving as front desk receptionist. Benefits

Checking patients in and out when they arrive for medical appointments Answering the phone to address patient inquiries and scheduling appointments Help in navigating company EHR to render smooth services Documenting insurance information, personal information, payment methods and other important patient information Collaborate with contractors, and billing department as needed Communicating information and important details to other medical care staff Contacting (and verifying) insurance companies regarding coverage, preapprovals, billing and other issues Processing payments from patients and handling billing issues between patients and insurance companies Managing various types of paperwork and other clerical duties Qualifications
Associate degree preferred, High school diploma recommended Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred (at least 1-3 years experience) Comfortable using computers and customer management software Excellent phone and verbal communication skills Understanding of active listening techniques Ability to be flexible, and may work every other Saturday mornings Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Fidelia Counseling Services, Inc by 2x Get notified about new Customer Service Representative jobs in
