Position Profile The Acceptance Process Manager will lead the team responsible for conducting conflict checks, background checks, and data integrity searches for new clients and engagements. The manager will work with client leads to gather and review project and company information, and properly memorialize the findings in our customer relationship management systems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct and oversee performance of conflict checks, including those to mitigate independence‑impairment risk.
Conduct and oversee background checks using our third‑party application, following confidentially safeguards.
Conduct and oversee data integrity searches through third‑party tools and public databases to improve client data quality.
Adhere to the relevant ethical requirements of the AICPA, state boards, and professional societies for which licenses are held.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years in a similar compliance‑heavy role.
Experience with data processing and searching.
Experience managing a team, including virtual settings.
Detail‑oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills with employees and partners at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Education related to the accounting profession.
Compensation and Benefits Estimated compensation range: $150,000 to $175,000. Actual pay will consider experience, skills, certifications, and location.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. We also offer flexible scheduled time off (minimum 56 sick & safe hours, 11 holidays, and 2 recharge days).
