Position Profile The Acceptance Process Manager will lead a team responsible for conducting conflict checks, background checks, and data integrity searches for new clients and engagements. The manager works with opportunity and client leads to gather information on projects and companies, ensures compliance with ethical requirements and state board regulations, and maintains accurate records in our customer relationship management system.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Conduct and oversee conflict checks, including those that mitigate independence impairments.

Conduct and oversee background checks using our third‑party application, ensuring confidentiality safeguards.

Conduct and oversee data integrity searches via third‑party applications and public databases to improve client attribute data quality.

Adhere to relevant ethical requirements of the AICPA, state accountancy boards, and any professional societies for which licenses are held.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

5+ years in a similar compliance‑heavy role.

Experience in data processing and searching.

Team management, including virtual team settings.

Detail‑oriented approach.

Strong interpersonal skills with employees and partners at various levels.

Preferred Qualifications

Education related to the accounting profession.

Compensation & Benefits Estimated compensation range: $150,000 to $175,000, adjusted for experience, skills, certifications, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible scheduled time off, minimum 56 hours of sick & safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days.
