What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage and direct a team of Applied Scientists and Research Engineers, fostering a high-performance culture

Lead the translation of state-of-the-art AI research into scalable, production-ready solutions

Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define and execute the AI-driven product roadmap

Oversee the scaling of experiment and LLMOps platforms, ensuring operational excellence

Champion innovation by exploring emerging technologies and sharing insights with both technical and non-technical audiences

What is Required (Qualifications)

PhD in a relevant discipline or Master’s with comparable experience

8+ years of hands-on experience building information retrieval (IR) and natural language processing (NLP) systems for commercial applications

Strong experience in Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and Large Language Models (LLM)

Prior management experience with a focus on coaching and developing high-performing teams

Proven track record of delivering AI solutions at scale in enterprise environments

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience innovating state-of-the-art research to solve real-world problems

Relevant publications in top conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGIR, or KDD

Advanced proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala
