Business Development Manager - Florida Territory
FilterPro IAQ , a FilterPro USA company, is a leading air filtration manufacturing and IAQ distribution, consulting, and service provider. We operate from our headquarters in Florence, AL, with distribution points across the Eastern U.S. We are growing rapidly and seeking a Business Development Manager to leverage experience, knowledge, and analytical expertise to drive revenue growth.
What you will be selling FilterPro IAQ sells air filter services and products to industrial, commercial, and retail businesses, including school systems, municipalities, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, and retail chains. Products include the XPi® Pleat Platform, direct filter sales, and the Stock2Dock® just‑in‑time delivery program.
Key responsibilities
Work with management and operations to develop sales and marketing strategies.
Present status and results of opportunities, plans, and tactics to leadership.
Prospect, qualify, and close new sales leads aligned with FilterPro Standard Business Processes.
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas and key metrics.
Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects; assist operations as needed.
Create and deliver presentations on company service offerings.
Maintain a well‑developed pipeline of prospects.
Build strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers through in‑person and virtual communications.
Follow all sales processes to close leads fully and thoroughly.
Communicate customer and prospect successes and concerns to internal departments.
Complete all steps of the customer onboarding process every time.
Coordinate with other team members to optimize the sales effort.
Model transparency, integrity, and commitment to excellence.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in commercial air filtration, HVAC/R, or a similar industry.
Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Highly self‑motivated with a sense of urgency.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize.
Willingness to travel while maintaining high productivity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Job details Location: hybrid/remote, Florida territory. Compensation: $50,000.00–$75,000.00.
