The Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) department is seeking a Staff Engineer Systems Architect to join our team in developing testing activities for superconducting electronics. The role involves developing automated testing procedures, documenting test requirements, and collaborating with engineers and physicists to advance high-performance computing systems. Key responsibilities include: Leading and supporting test development activities for superconducting electronics. Developing automated testing procedures for fabrication characterization and validation. Supporting development of test platforms within project constraints. Documenting and implementing test requirements and procedures. Reviewing test plans for accuracy and completeness. Analyzing data and recommending improvements to testing methodologies and processes. This position requires on-site work at our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) in Linthicum, MD. Designing and developing system architectures, defining key capabilities, and establishing performance requirements. Defining design constraints and external interfaces. Developing system implementation approaches and operational concepts, ensuring requirements are met and performance is evaluated with the customer. Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders on requirements for AWG, Oscilloscope, and Network Analyzer applications. Ensuring hardware meets technical requirements for signal generation, analysis, and measurement. Supporting responsive and real-time user interactions and addressing performance bottlenecks. Acting as a liaison between software, hardware, and other teams. Driving program goals, strategies, and building aligned systems. Estimating project timelines, resources, and deliverables related to hardware development. This position is contingent upon security clearance and requires on-site presence in Linthicum/Annapolis Junction, MD. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 7 years. Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML). Experience with CAMEO. Experience presenting results to customers and management. Proficiency in Python & MATLAB. Experience with backlog planning and management. Experience in systems development, integration, and testing. U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, especially PDR to CDR. Overseeing Software Integration and Test processes. Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills. U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Salary Range:

$163,200 - $244,800. Salary offers depend on experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
