Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic
Head of Shared Services Center
to lead and develop our Finance SSC organization based in Bielsko-Biała. The SSC supports multiple financial functions and serves international business units, with a total team of approximately 170 professionals across various departments including Accounting, Controlling, AP/AR, Payroll, and Financial Reporting. Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Finance SSC, ensuring efficient service delivery and continuous improvement across all financial processes. Manage and develop a team of ~170 employees organized into multiple functional teams. Drive standardization, automation, and optimization of processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP), and internal controls. Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to align SSC operations with broader business objectives. Set and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and financial targets for SSC performance. Lead organizational change, talent development, and succession planning within the SSC. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the SSC. Requirements
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (ACCA/CIMA/CPA would be a plus). Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in an SSC or similar environment. Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage complex operations. Strong understanding of financial processes and SSC best practices. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. Fluent in English; Polish is a strong advantage. Our client offers
