Position: Chief Systems Engineer Location: CO Boulder BGIF OPIR TAP Lab - Boulder, CO 80301 US (Primary) Category: IT and Computer Related Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $130,000 to $195,000 per year Education: Master's Degree Travel: Up to 25% Security Clearance: TS/SCI Position Overview and Responsibilities: Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC (AOPS) has a dynamic opportunity for a Chief Systems Engineer to lead advancements in remote sensing technology, supporting the Strategic Missile Warning Ground Acquisition Delta's OPIR mission. This position is contingent upon contract award. A signed letter of intent may be required. If awarded, a new posting will be available on our Careers portal. Key Responsibilities include: Contributing to national security initiatives. Working with advanced computing infrastructure across multiple data levels. Driving innovation using AI/ML, data fusion, and automation. Collaborating across programs to foster an innovative team culture. Leading systems engineering efforts for the OPIR TAP Lab and BGIF. Defining and prioritizing technical requirements. Conducting trade studies for technology investments. Managing an Integration Roadmap to optimize activities and investments. Exploring emerging technologies for strategic advantage. Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience, including 5 years in software development within DoD or security environments. Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology Management, or related field. Proven leadership in project management and stakeholder collaboration.
