CNC Machinist – Vertical Milling (Cincinnati, OH)

is hiring an experienced
CNC Machinist
to join our
Vertical Milling Department
in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a steady, full-time, first-shift position in a
family-owned, fully air-conditioned job shop . If you enjoy precision machining, programming at the machine, and working in a supportive team environment, this could be the role for you.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate
CNC vertical machining centers
(3-axis and 4-axis, FANUC controls).
Machine precision parts to exact customer specifications in a
low-volume, high-precision job shop
setting.
Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Verify setups, dimensions, and tolerances using precision measurement tools.
Edit
G & M code
directly at the machine as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
✅ Qualifications
3–5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience ( not just operation ).
Strong background in CNC
programming, setup, and operation .
Ability to work independently on CNC vertical machining centers.
Proficiency with
FANUC controls
and 3-/4-axis milling.
Comfortable in a
prototype and production job shop environment .
Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T, inspection methods, and use of precision tools.
Detail-oriented, safety-minded, and committed to producing quality parts.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay:
$25 – $35/hour (based on experience).
Benefits:
Medical Mutual health insurance (company pays 75% of premium)
Vision insurance
401(k) with Vanguard (3% match dollar-for-dollar, 50% match on 4–5%)
Quarterly profit-sharing bonus (when profitable)
PTO: 1 week after 90 days, 2 weeks after 1 year

Schedule
First shift only
Flexible start times: 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM
Monday – Friday, ~8 hours/day
Occasional Saturday mornings and overtime available
