Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate
Mazak 2-axis CNC lathes
using
Mazatrol
at the machine.
Machine precision parts to exact customer specifications in a
low-volume, high-precision job shop .
Read and interpret
blueprints, part drawings, and GD&T
requirements.
Verify setups, tolerances, and dimensions using precision inspection tools.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
✅ Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience as a
CNC lathe machinist
(not just operator).
Strong skills in
Mazatrol programming
directly at the machine.
Hands-on experience with
Mazak Quick Turn lathes
or similar CNC turning equipment.
Ability to hold tight tolerances and complete parts from start to finish.
Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T, and use of precision measurement tools.
Comfortable in a
prototype and production machining environment .
Detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on quality craftsmanship.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay:
$25 – $35/hour (based on experience).
Benefits:
Medical Mutual health insurance (company covers 75% of premium)
Vision insurance
401(k) with Vanguard (3% match dollar-for-dollar, 50% match on 4–5%)
Quarterly profit-sharing bonus (when profitable)
PTO: 1 week after 90 days, 2 weeks after 1 year
HSA available
Schedule
First shift only
Flexible start: 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM
Monday – Friday, ~8 hours/day
Occasional Saturday mornings and overtime available
