As the MAC Service Desk Specialist, the individual is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and fixing Mac OS X and Windows solutions on various Apple devices including MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, PowerBook, iBook, Power Mac, iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Pro, as well as peripherals such as scanners, local and network printers, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. The Technician will support MAC end-user devices across the National Defense University enterprise, ensuring device standardization and managing customizations as needed. #LI-DNI Responsibilities:

Remove viruses, adware, malware, and spyware using various configurations and troubleshooting techniques for MAC operating systems. Script with PowerShell, be familiar with MS Office, Outlook, and possess knowledge of O365 and Active Directory. Support the launch of new applications, services, and tools within the organization. Establish accounts and profiles for new users and resolve password issues. Log all activities in a ticket tracking system and document incidents accurately. Document resolutions in the organizational knowledge base. Create Standard Operating Procedures to support daily tasks. Ensure proper documentation following quality control workflows. Oversee system usage to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures. Perform additional tasks as required by OSC and the Government team. Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:

Valid SEC+ Certification. Strong knowledge of MAC workstation best practices and standards. Knowledge of MAC servers, including network connectivity, printers, server implementation, STIGs, and patching. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and develop strong organizational relationships. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to support tasks through to completion with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide professional customer service. Experience with network monitoring tools. Must have a Public Trust clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience
