Senior Business Analyst

This position involves performing advanced, senior-level business analysis work. The business analyst (BA) serves as the conduit between the program/customer community and the software development team, ensuring the successful flow of requirements. The BA will be involved throughout the entire software development life cycle, from establishing requirements to managing and verifying the fulfillment of requirements, including post-implementation enhancements. Key Responsibilities: Elicit requirements from customer interviews and create well-written system requirements documents. Support projects by managing business process re-engineering and software process flow improvements. Develop user stories and use cases according to business analysis best practices. Design mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices. Manage the requirements specification and ensure fulfillment throughout the SDLC. Act as the liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure all requirements are met, including post-implementation enhancements. Demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. Maintain organized documentation and communicate clearly across teams. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in eliciting requirements from customers and creating well-written system requirements documents. 8+ years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 8+ years of experience in business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement. 8+ years of experience in developing user stories and use cases according to business analysis best practices. 8+ years of experience designing mockups and/or wireframes that follow UX best practices. 5+ years of demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills. 5+ years of strong writing and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of documented work experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements." 3+ years of documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira." 2+ years of experience working for or closely with Client or another state or local education agency.
