Overview
Our client, a leading cybersecurity company providing advanced threat prevention solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join their product development team in Orlando, FL. Salary : $60-$120k (flexible/based on experience) + 25% BONUS + BENEFITS Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CPO to identify and prioritize new product opportunities. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy. Gather and document detailed business requirements and user stories. Work with cross-functional teams (development, design, marketing) to ensure product requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from stakeholders and refine product requirements. Create and maintain product roadmaps and timelines. Create and update documentation, including UI/UX mockups, database dictionaries, APIs, etc., to support the product life cycle. Manage the product backlog and prioritize tasks based on changing requirements. Assist in the development of business cases and ROI analyses for new product initiatives. Monitor and report on product performance and user feedback post-launch. Collaborate with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports. Support the CPO in strategic planning and decision-making processes. Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Experience in a fast-paced tech company or cybersecurity company (preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of DB SQL & API integrations. In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Proficiency with business analysis tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in the cybersecurity industry. Knowledge of product management and development processes. Certification in Business Analysis – preferred (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
