This position is for a small but growing catering company based in Honolulu, HI, known for our fresh and high-quality offerings, including sushi and other specialty cuisine. The company is looking for a motivated and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee their day-to-day operations and help them continue to grow and deliver exceptional service to their clients. Job Summary:

As the Operations Manager, you’ll wear many hats—from taking catering orders to managing inventory, handling billing and invoicing, and occasionally making deliveries or supply runs. You’ll play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly and efficiently. If you're someone who’s organized, proactive, and eager to grow with a company, we’d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities: Manage catering orders, scheduling and customer communication

Oversee daily operations, staff, and workflow

Handle inventory control and supply ordering

Manage billing, invoicing, accounts payable & receivable

Perform general administrative duties

Occasionally run errands for supplies or make deliveries

Collaborate with kitchen staff and assist when needed

Maintain clear records and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications: Previous experience in operations, office management, or catering is a plus

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Comfortable with billing software and basic accounting tasks (QuickBooks)

Valid driver’s license (required)

Sushi-making experience is a plus, but not required

Willingness to learn sushi prep is a big plus

Salary will be based on experience

Raise will be considered after the probation period
