– Work alongside a collaborative executive team committed to mental health care. Key Responsibilities for the Director of Nursing, Psychiatric Services:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the service line Develop and implement policies to ensure high-quality patient care, compliance, and safety. Recruit, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Work closely with hospital administration to align behavioral health initiatives with overall hospital goals. Monitor performance metrics and drive
continuous improvement
in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Qualifications for the Director of Nursing, Psychiatric Services:
Master's degree required - if not in Nursing, must have BSN + Master's in another area. RN License State of North Carolina. 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in behavioral health, psychiatry/inpatient mental health. Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for inpatient psychiatric services. Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and develop clinical programs. Location:
Charlotte NC metro area -
