Responsibilities The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track position in Biochemistry starting August 2025. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field and demonstrate a commitment to innovative undergraduate teaching.
Responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced biochemistry courses, developing elective courses aligned with expertise, and establishing undergraduate research programs.
The department features state-of-the-art laboratories, dedicated research space, and advanced instrumentation such as ATR-FTIR, GC-MS, HPCL TXRF, Raman spectrometer, and 300 MHz NMR. Candidates should be eager to contribute to the department's growth.
Requirements
Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field
Personal commitment to North Park University's mission of Christian higher education
Teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of biochemistry laboratory techniques
Research experience in biochemistry or related fields
