Pediatric Developmental and Behavioral Job Summary:
Mission Children's Olson Huff Center is seeking a pediatrician to join our developmental behavioral pediatrics team in Asheville, NC. Qualified Candidates: Fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Responsibilities include consultation and follow-up, with opportunities for program development, leadership, clinical research, and teaching Incentive/Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package Hospital employed with base salary, productivity, and bonuses 401k with company contribution About Mission Children’s: Over 60 pediatric subspecialists in 23 disciplines Approximately 3,000 patient admissions to pediatric inpatient units annually, including a 19-bed pediatric unit, nine-bed PICU, and 51-bed level III neonatology unit Approximately 4,500 pediatric surgeries and 14,000 pediatric visits to the emergency department per year About The Olson Huff Center: The Olson Huff Center is a regional referral center providing diagnostic and treatment services to children with developmental problems. It is the largest clinic program of its kind in the state. Special strengths include: Innovative autism programs Complex ADHD and school problems clinics Integrated behavioral health services Neuromuscular/cerebral palsy clinic Interdisciplinary neonatal follow-up Onsite pediatric therapies including PT, OT, SLP Additional providers such as psychologists, LCSWs, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists Whether you enjoy outdoor adventures, arts and culture, live music, shopping, or fine cuisine, Asheville offers something for everyone! With over 200 waterfalls, navigable rivers, hiking trails, and terrain suitable for biking, Asheville is a top US destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
