HGA's Healthcare (HC) practice is seeking a BIM Specialist to join our team in one of our California offices. This position provides Revit model support to architects, planners, and designers actively using Revit for project delivery. The individual will manage Revit model setup and ongoing maintenance of Architectural models on active projects, primarily in California, with occasional work in other HC departments across HGA offices. The role includes training/support from the national HGA Digital Practice Group (DPG) to incorporate standards, and offers ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and content development. In This Role You Will Setup the Revit model using HGA BIM standards. Maintain Revit model health for optimal performance. Troubleshoot Revit user issues. Assist with BIM coordination and quality assurance. Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans and standards. Coordinate workflows with project teams and discipline leads. Attend coordination meetings and represent your discipline. Manage content creation requests and ensure data continuity. Configure and customize design applications. Provide training and technical support to staff. Handle troubleshooting and product testing.
Revit-specific responsibilities include model setup, maintenance, coordination, and closeout, ensuring adherence to LOD standards and proper documentation. You Will Need To Have Associate degree and 2-5 years of Revit project experience. Knowledge of construction types and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and intermediate skills in Sketchup, Rhino, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite. Understanding of project workflows from design to construction. Revit certification preferred but not required.
Note: This position is not for those with a professional architecture degree. Salary Information The pay range varies by geography and experience, with benefits including bonuses, 401(k), parental leave, insurance plans, PTO, and disability programs. Range: $26.16 - $41.63/hour. Additional Information This role is suitable for skilled Revit users familiar with other modeling software like Rhino.
