The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator to serve as Medical Director, Transplant, and Section Head, Heart Failure. The role is based in a nationally renowned cardiovascular institute and heart failure program. Candidates may be appointed at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Responsibilities include supporting the inpatient cardiology service and ambulatory clinics. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, completed ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure fellowship programs, and hold current board certification in cardiology and advanced heart failure. Experience in clinical trial leadership and a robust publication record demonstrating productivity and the ability to secure extramural funding are essential. The candidate should be an outstanding clinician with experience mentoring trainees and junior faculty. Clinician-scientists who can integrate clinical expertise and research are encouraged to apply.
