A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a new Mammography Technologist to join one of their growing outpatient facilities in Brooklyn.

Monday to Friday (at least 1 Saturday per month) Hours:
8:30am to 4:30pm Department:
Radiology Diagnostic EMR:
Epic Responsibilities: Provide X-Ray and mammography services to patients Review medical information and interprets requisitions accurately Report all examination discrepancies to Radiologist, dept head and/or providers as needed Keep record/logs of all examinations performed Document all examinations in the Radiology system in an accurate and timely fashion Document all relevant patient medical information to aid the interpreting Radiologist in diagnosis Correct any errors with archival of examinations in a timely fashion Monitor functionality of diagnostic equipment Observe and report any malfunctioning of equipment Ensure mammograms and X-Rays are of optimal quality and that all patient information is accurate Ensure examination rooms are stocked and clean Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: A valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH Post-primary certification in Mammography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Desired Skills: BLS certification Ability to do both X-Ray and Mammography Seniority level
