Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiology Administrator and Clinical Director, the
Mammography Technologist
will perform diagnostic and screening mammograms at our flagship Family Health Center, El Nuevo San Juan. Minimum Qualifications: ARRT Mammography Certification NYS DOH Radiology Technician License Knowledge of Digital 3-D and Quality Control highly desired Completion of 2 years from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology 1-2 years of related experience Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Key Duties: Complete patient education regarding the exam, promote patient privacy and comfort Perform diagnostic or screening mammography as ordered, with appropriate documentation Assist the Radiologist in complex mammography examinations Produce high-quality films for radiologist evaluation, paying attention to detail Perform quality control functions related to mammography Assist in compiling and maintaining statistical data Follow infection control and safety guidelines Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Maintain accuracy in mammography positioning and exposure techniques Serve as primary liaison between patients, Radiologists, and support team members Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge and skills Perform duties using proper body mechanics, including manual dexterity and fine motor coordination Starting Compensation:

Position based at Bronx Family Health Center: El Nuevo San Juan. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, every other Saturday with a day off during the week. About Urban Health Plan:
