Job Description
Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist 2 to join the OR team.
This role will be full‑time, working three 12‑hour shifts (also open to 10‑ and 8‑hour shifts): Monday‑Friday, with an on‑call requirement for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Surgical Technologist 2 Job Responsibilities
Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the first scrub.
Advanced knowledge of aseptic and surgical technique.
Responsible behavior as a healthcare professional. Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs.
Knowledge and practice of basic patient‑care concepts.
Anticipates surgeons’ needs, passing instruments, sutures, and other items appropriate to the procedure.
Serves as a resource in at least two specialty areas/procedures.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Experience: 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience or equivalent.
Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required upon start.
License: Registered Surgical Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia required upon start.
