Job Description As a Project Engineer, you will engage in civil engineering design for private land development projects, requiring proficiency in Civil 3D, grading, drainage, dry utilities, and the autonomy to make informed engineering decisions while seeking guidance when necessary. Responsibilities
Designing land development projects, encompassing site layout, grading, drainage, and utilities.
Creating detailed plans, calculations, and reports utilizing industry‑standard software.
Collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Ensuring that designs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Engaging in meetings with clients and stakeholders to grasp project requirements.
Qualifications
A BS Degree in Engineering (Civil or Environmental) from a four‑year college or university.
Several years of experience using CAD software (preferably Carlson/Civil 3D/AutoCAD).
A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in land development.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
