The Vice President, Account Manager manages all company contact with new and existing clients and is responsible for building and cultivating client relationships. This position is measured on the ability to sell and deliver services successfully. It also generates business, manages client relationships, develops employees, and is responsible for a geographic region, vertical market segment, and/or customers with a large building program. The account manager is responsible for full profit and loss on respective accounts. This position reports to the Executive Vice President/General Manager.
Responsibilities Build and cultivate client relationships; generate business and manage client portfolios; develop employees; oversee geographic regions or vertical market segments; manage full profit and loss; provide services and solutions to clients.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in the construction industry.
10+ years in a leadership role managing teams and overseeing large projects, including roles such as Project Manager or Project Executive.
10+ years identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategies to grow client base and increase revenue.
10+ years financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience); minimum 15 years prior relevant experience.
