The firm specializes in equity compensation, tax and estate planning, and advanced investment strategies. The Lead Advisor will manage and grow relationships with tech clients, providing thoughtful and proactive advice across all areas of financial planning. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected team that values partnership, growth, and long-term client impact.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary advisor for a book of high-net-worth clients, primarily tech professionals and executives
Lead comprehensive planning conversations covering equity compensation, investment management, tax, and estate strategies
Partner closely with tax professionals to deliver integrated advice
Prepare for and conduct client meetings, including all follow-up and implementation
Collaborate with other advisors and internal staff in a team-based model
Build and deepen long-term client relationships, expanding engagement and wallet share
Develop new business through referrals and centers of influence
Participate in client appreciation and education events
Contribute to firmwide initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
5+ years of client-facing financial planning experience (10+ preferred)
Experience advising clients in the tech sector, particularly around equity compensation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with eMoney, CRM systems, and investment reporting software such as Black Diamond
Tech-savvy, highly organized, and responsive
Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, team-first approach
CFP strongly preferred
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $150,000–$250,000 (commensurate with experience)

Must be based in California and available for occasional in-person meetings (Bay Area preferred)
