Responsibilities
Operate all instrumentation in assigned areas to deliver precise, timely, and accurate laboratory results.
Train new laboratory personnel in methods, procedures, and use of equipment.
Perform quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoot malfunctioning instrumentation.
Report and maintain record of patient test results through the laboratory computer system accurately, meeting published turnaround times for routine testing and stats.
Participate in performance improvement activities and initiatives by proactively diagnosing and resolving problems.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor's Degree
Physical/Life Science/related
Experience
2 years of laboratory experience (no supervisor experience required)
Licenses & Certifications
ASCP, AMT, AAB or equivalent or eligible
