Revolution Medicines is a clinical‑stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS‑addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies.
As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding Revolutionaries in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
Opportunity As a key player in our Cancer Immunology team, you will use your immuno‑oncology expertise to help advance Revolution Medicines’ assets in preclinical and clinical development.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, validate and execute in vitro, in vivo, and ex vivo studies to address key translational questions and support immuno‑oncology biomarker plans.
Identify, evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance translational biomarker discovery and mechanistic understanding.
Drive reverse translation efforts by formulating and testing hypotheses derived from clinical findings to inform clinical development plans.
Stay abreast of advances in tumor immunology and immunotherapy, identifying novel combination strategies and contributing to preclinical evaluation.
Analyze, interpret, and communicate complex data effectively across internal cross‑functional teams and at external scientific meetings.
Represent Revolution Medicines at scientific conferences and other external engagements.
Required Skills, Experience and Education
Ph.D. in immunology, cancer biology, or a related discipline, with deep expertise in tumor immunology, immuno‑oncology biomarkers, and/or immunotherapy.
Proven track record of research excellence, evidenced by high‑impact publications.
Expertise in in vivo model design to evaluate the efficacy and mechanisms of action of therapeutic agents and enable biomarker discovery, both internally and via contract research organizations.
Strong technical expertise in immunology techniques including multi‑parameter flow cytometric analyses, primary human cellular/tissue‑based functional assays, cell biology and molecular biology to guide/inform mechanism of action and biomarker discovery.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to independently oversee scientific projects, rigorously analyze and interpret scientific data while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative, interdisciplinary team setting.
4+ years of relevant biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience in oncology drug discovery and development.
Preferred Skills
Hands‑on experience with humanized mouse models is desirable.
Familiarity with multiomics analyses and integrating computational insights into experimental designs.
Base pay salary range for this full‑time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is $144,000 — $180,000 USD.
