Summary Delta Oaks Group seeks a dedicated professional to support our Geotechnical Department on telecommunications and commercial projects. Responsibilities include day‑to‑day operations of engineering projects, project setup, scheduling and coordinating with drilling subcontractors, and tracking subcontractor data. Candidates should have familiarity with project‑management aspects of geotechnical and/or construction materials testing (CMT) methodologies.

Responsibilities

Project setup and maintenance of project trackers.

Prepare driller quote requests and notices to proceed documents.

Schedule and manage subcontractor drilling assignments, ensuring accurate assignment sheets, boring location plans, and directions.

Follow up with drillers to confirm drill dates based on timelines and client requirements.

Coordinate with landowners to arrange access for drill dates.

Verify underground utilities clearance and coordinate private utility clearance when needed.

Assist engineers with boring logs and layouts.

Support engineering report preparation by ensuring all necessary data is collected.

Coordinate shipping of soil and rock samples to laboratories.

Maintain vendor files, ensuring all information, insurances, and documents are up to date.

Computer Software Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and advanced Excel functions.

Knowledge of project management software (JIRA) is a plus.

Familiarity with Google Workspace and Google Earth is desired.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of project management experience, preferably in the telecommunication tower or construction materials testing sector.

Strong communication skills for collaborating with subcontractors, clients, officials, landowners, and vendors.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.

Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts.

Education Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or a related scientific field strongly preferred.

Travel 0‑5% travel required.
