Benesch Law is hiring a
Financial IS Systems Analyst
for our Chicago office. This hybrid position offers work-from-home flexibility.
Overview The role merges accounting, information systems, and business administration. You will manage day‑to‑day administration, support, and continuous improvement of the financial systems used by the Finance Department.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage financial systems and related user support functions, including employee management tasks, user access administration, and mass updates in Aderant via SQL.
Perform monthly & annual rate changes, update bill images, and support external vendors.
Handle service desk requests, issues, and service requests; provide initial point of contact for Aderant and other finance system users.
Maintain system and data interdependencies and act as a data steward for firm financial and operational data.
Develop SQL queries and create reports for finance users with tools such as SSRS, Excel, and PowerBI.
Write and maintain financial system business administration policies, procedures, and documentation.
Validate business functions after installations, patches, or upgrades.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and best practices.
Maintain confidentiality of firm internal and personnel affairs and client information.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with an Information Systems focus. 5–8 years of experience with accounting or ERP systems and relational databases. Proficiency in Aderant or Elite 3E, advanced Excel, SQL, PowerBI, and SSRS is required. Project management experience and a continuous‑improvement mindset are essential.
Salary & Benefits Salary range: $73,000 – $145,000.
Full‑time position with a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements.
