Job Overview Paryani Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in developing accurate, timely, and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial and healthcare construction projects. As the Estimator, you’ll manage bid processes, perform quantity takeoffs, and collaborate closely with project management, subcontractors, and external stakeholders from conceptual design through final pricing. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for all project phases, from conceptual budgets to final bids.

Perform comprehensive quantity takeoffs across all scopes of work.

Develop detailed scope sheets and ensure scope clarity for subcontractor bids.

Identify value engineering opportunities and potential project risks early in the bid process.

Subcontractor & Bid Management Distribute invitations to bid and manage the full subcontractor bid process.

Review subcontractor proposals for completeness, accuracy, and scope coverage.

Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for optimal pricing.

Coordinate with operations, field teams, and project managers to define project logistics, schedule assumptions, and manpower needs.

Support marketing and business development teams in proposal preparation.

Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to represent the company.

Project & Process Support Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and project review sessions.

Assist in maintaining the company’s internal historical cost database.

Participate in post-bid and post-project analysis to inform future estimates.

Visit active project sites to align field insights with estimating practices.

Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

2–5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction preferred.

Technical Skills Proficient in BlueBeam, Microsoft Excel, and BuildingConnected.

Experience with takeoff tools (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff) and scheduling software (Microsoft Project or P6) strongly preferred.

Behavioral & Soft Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners.

High attention to detail with a strategic, big-picture mindset.

Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple estimates or deadlines.

Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to grow within a team.
