We are seeking an experienced Lead Solutions Architect / Technical Lead to provide expert guidance, architectural oversight, and hands‑on leadership for complex development and data engineering efforts. This role will serve as the primary technical authority on the program, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and support of a large‑scale data warehouse. You will bring your deep technical experience, strong leadership capabilities, and proven success delivering Agile Analytics solutions within the federal environment.
What Your Day Might Include…
Lead the overall architecture and design of a large-scale data warehouse and associated applications.
Define architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps, system diagrams, and technical documentation.
Provide day-to-day technical leadership and guidance to development, data engineering, and DevSecOps teams.
Review and approve system designs, data models, integration approaches, and high-level technical solutions.
Oversee the implementation of cloud-based, serverless, and modern data engineering solutions.
Support troubleshooting of complex issues across the application, data, and infrastructure layers.
Lead technical execution within an Agile Analytics environment, ensuring alignment of sprint goals and technical priorities.
Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to translate requirements into actionable technical tasks.
Ensure continuous integration, automated testing, and iterative delivery practices are followed.
Work closely with program leadership to define technical priorities, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Communicate architectural decisions and technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and alignment across the program.
Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards.
Enforce code quality standards, architecture reviews, and technical checkpoints.
Drive continuous improvement and technical innovation across the development environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience leading architectural design for large-scale, complex data warehouse environments.
Demonstrated experience organizing and executing Agile Analytics projects.
Certification in one or more: AWS, Apache, Databricks, Oracle.
Experience building or modernizing enterprise-scale data platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and cloud-native architectures.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
