Position Purpose: Seeking talented engineers to join the world’s leading distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts. This role involves building and maintaining next-generation commerce platforms for GPC, working with a highly skilled team to support one of the largest automotive and industrial parts operations globally.
Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Collaborate with product teams to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions.
Specialize in areas such as Software, Data, Networking, Supply Chain, or Digital.
Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including testing and support.
Design and implement enterprise solutions with other engineering resources.
Contribute to the architecture supporting new commerce capabilities.
Act as SME in assigned domains, understanding end-to-end processes.
Implement best practices for observability, monitoring, and resilience.
Guide and mentor other engineers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Location:
Options to work from Duluth or Atlanta offices.
Flexible hybrid remote work policy.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
2+ years (4+ preferred) of software development, particularly with high-volume B2B integrations.
Experience with MS Visual Studio, ASP.NET, C#, XML, Java/Spring Boot, and ReactJS.
Strong understanding of system design, security, and performance.
Proven ability to simplify complex solutions and plan go-lives.
Experience with agile methodologies.
High coding involvement (70-90% daily).
