Base pay range
$26.41/hr - $31.69/hr
Position summary
Provide high level administrative, calendar, budget, meeting, and project coordination support to the Assistant General Manager and the Public and Intergovernmental Affairs team. Serve as a central point of contact for stakeholders and help keep departmental operations running on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, meetings, travel, and follow ups for the executive
- Prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, and maintain organized digital and physical files
- Process invoices, POs, credit card reconciliations, and track departmental budgets and variances
- Coordinate memberships, sponsorships, contracts, and vendor compliance with procurement
- Support team meetings and cross departmental projects, ensuring timely communication
- Order supplies, handle mail and calls, and uphold office procedures and standards
Qualifications
- Strong business writing, grammar, and document production skills
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and common office systems
- Outstanding organization, time management, tact, and diplomacy
- Public sector budget, AP, or agency experience is a plus
- Professional certifications such as CPS or CAP are a plus
