Overview The Investment Planning Director will lead a newly formed department focused on transforming media investment strategy through innovation, system development, and thought leadership. This role is responsible for guiding a team of Investment Planning Managers and Planners in the creation and execution of high‑impact investment strategies that drive advertiser growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of Investment Planning Managers and Planners in the development of comprehensive investment strategies across advertiser portfolios.
Ensure planning outputs are aligned with client targets, budget goals, and performance benchmarks.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Architect and implement scalable planning systems, workflows, and tools to support a rapidly evolving media investment landscape.
Lead the design and rollout of automation initiatives, including Salesforce ticketing enhancements and standardized investment packages.
Champion innovation in planning methodologies, including verticalized strategies and emerging channel activations (e.g., CTV, Retail Media, CLO).
Partner with Strategy, Channel Growth, Publisher Success, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and optimization.
Represent the Planning function in leadership forums and cross‑departmental initiatives.
Drive alignment between investment planning and broader business transformation efforts.
Monitor and report on media value growth across advertiser portfolios, targeting quarterly improvement objectives.
Lead quarterly planning presentations and identify and execute bespoke strategic partnerships and first‑time emerging channel activations as SME of Partnerships space.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in media investment, affiliate marketing, or eCommerce strategy.
Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and building new departments or functions.
Expertise in developing and scaling operational systems and planning frameworks.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with media planning tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Growth OS, Smart Reach).
Experience with publisher negotiations and media execution workflows.
Additional Information This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in office.

Compensation Range: $119,510.00 - $179,850.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 12/8/25.
