Position Summary: As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead, you will drive member service in your area and supervise a team of hourly associates to deliver safe and efficient services. You will model expertise in the Tire and Battery Center and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations.
Base pay range: $21.00/hr – $29.00/hr
What you’ll do
Be a Team Leader: Supervise the team within the Tire and Battery Center to deliver on the business plan and contribute to club success. Communicate department goals, set guidelines, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and champion member, associate, and company interests.
Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of floor business, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications and seasonality to ensure consistent daily processes. Share knowledge, train the team, and keep the team updated on new products and technologies.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training, and be an early adopter of new tools.
Be an Owner: Drive business results and commitment to operational excellence; maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area; plan proactively; order equipment, tools, and supplies while controlling expense; track returns and special orders; assist with staffing and scheduling; operate cash registers, process transactions, and support member service.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Train and teach the team; monitor e-learning and training completion; identify potential and desire in others; develop necessary skills to deliver high‑quality services; encourage career growth; source new talent internally and externally.
Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; analyze and apply information from multiple sources; monitor progress and results; and identify improvement opportunities.
Demonstrate and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and integrity standards, including open‑door policy, by guiding application, implementing action plans, and assisting management with ethical and compliance issues.
Lead and participate in teams by sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing feedback and support to ensure timelines and quality are achieved.

Minimum Qualifications
6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in the automotive industry.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory experience in the tire industry.
Tire industry certification (Certificate Primary).
