As a Senior Financial Analyst Capital Assets, youll play a critical role in optimizing financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving key initiatives across our Capital Assets, Cash Compliance & Controls, and Financial Reporting teams. This is more than just a numbers roleyoull have visibility across the organization, work on high-impact projects, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Accounting Excellence
  • Drive financial reporting and compliance for Capital Assets, Cash Controls, and Financial Reporting teams.
  • Manage monthly accounting processes, including close activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Review and enhance financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Strategic Projects & Process Optimization
  • Leverage data-driven insights and methodologies like DMAIC and LEAN to enhance financial operations.
  • Utilize Excel, Power BI, Power Queries, and other tools to streamline workflows.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support
  • Conduct financial due diligence, analysis, and integration activities for M&A transactions.
  • Ensure seamless alignment of financial processes during acquisitions.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and support decision-making for leadership teams.
Technical Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, capital assets, leases, and cash management.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, ERP systems (SAP experience preferred), and IFRS/US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Power Platform, and data visualization tools.
Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Ability to drive change in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skillscomfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • MBA, CPA or previous M&A experience is a plus
