Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Trial Attorney to join our dynamic legal team starting in June. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense and litigation, with a proven track record in trial preparation and handling complex cases. This role requires a proactive approach to managing cases and advocating for our clients' interests in court.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in insurance defense litigation matters Prepare and present cases for trial, including conducting legal research and drafting motions Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients Negotiate settlements and handle pre-trial matters Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Stay updated on legal developments and changes in insurance defense law
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in the state of CA Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation Strong trial preparation skills and experience as a first chair attorney Familiarity with auto and construction defect claims is a plus Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
